A little girl in Shanghai, Chen Xiangru, who was under four years old, developed a fever and was rushed to seek medical care. However, several hospitals' fever clinics were closed. After finally finding a hospital, the long wait times and mandatory COVID testing delayed her emergency treatment, and tragically, she passed away.
