Shanghai reported a new death case of a 33-year-old, diagnosed with sudden cardiac death.

On April 26, the Shanghai Municipal Government Information Office held a press conference on epidemic prevention and control to provide the latest updates. It was reported that as of 24:00 on April 25, the city had a total of 190 death cases, with the youngest being 33 years old and the oldest 101 years old, averaging 82.52 years. Statistics show that 86.32% of the deaths were among individuals aged 70 and above. Except for one case of sudden cardiac death, all other deaths were attributed to underlying health conditions. Among the deceased, 12 had been vaccinated against COVID-19, while the rest had not received the vaccine.
