Although residents had previously consulted with government officials to prevent positive infected people from entering buildings with residents, they still did not receive a satisfactory response. On the same day, a large number of police entered the community, violently dispersed the protesters, and arrested several residents. Later, Zhangjiang Group issued a statement, saying that when organizing the construction of the isolation fence, some tenants obstructed the construction site, and the relevant departments carried out on-site disposal, and the situation has now subsided.
