During the lockdown in Shanghai, to help cancer patients seek medical treatment, volunteers created an online document titled “Shanghai Medical Emergency Assistance,” compiled a “Guide for Cancer Patients Seeking Treatment During the Epidemic in Shanghai,” and set up multiple WeChat mutual aid groups. It was precisely these grassroots actions that helped cancer patients cope with the secondary disasters during the lockdown.
