Migrant workers assisting in building Shanghai fangcang shelters: once stranded at the Shanghai-Zhejiang border, sleeping in cars; when they put on protective suits to go to hotels, everyone cheered.

Self-reports of two workers assisting in building Shanghai fangcang hospitals. To meet the construction deadline, they once went two days and two nights without sleep, and, out of concern for exposure risk, limited their water intake to avoid using the toilet. On their way home, they were forced to stay for two days between two checkpoints at the Shanghai-Zhejiang border, sleeping on the roadside grass.
