For some businesses, takeaway and self-pickup are the only lifeline, with sales only reaching about 10% of the same period in previous years. Despite the so-called reopening, they still have to pay rent, staff salaries, supplier payments, utility bills, property fees, delivery platform fees, and more—making the situation even worse than shutting down.
