Author Miao Miao entered the makeshift hospital quarantine on April 7 and was discharged on April 11. This article records her observations and experiences during the three days inside. Currently, Shanghai’s epidemic situation remains severe, with people struggling to secure groceries and a continuous flow of help requests on Weibo. It is hoped that Miao Miao’s experience can provide everyone with a perspective on the impact of the epidemic and its secondary effects.
