On July 14, 2022, Shanghai issued the Several Policy Measures to Support the Healthy Development of Self-Employed Businesses.
The policy states that self-employed businesses facing operational difficulties due to natural disasters, accidents, public health events, social security incidents, and other reasons may independently decide to suspend operations for a certain period; those who decide to suspend operations should complete suspension filing procedures. For businesses that have completed suspension registration, the registration authority will disclose the suspension period, legal document service address, and other information to the public through the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System.
